What happens after the night

The night ends on the clock, photographs keep arriving for ten days, and then the album is finished and sent to you.

When do I get the album?
When the upload window closes, which is ten days after the night starts. You get an email with the link the moment it is ready. You do not have to wait to look — the album is there from the end of the night and fills in as the last photographs land.
Why ten days and not the next morning?
Because photographs are still arriving. A phone that ran out of battery at midnight, one with no signal in a basement venue, somebody who took a photograph and never pressed send — all of those turn up over the following days. An album finished at breakfast is an album missing them.
Can I download everything?
Yes. There is a Download everything button on the album that gives you one file with the whole night in it — photographs and voice notes, in folders named after the moments they came from. It appears once the archive has been built, which is at the same time as the email.
How long do you keep my photographs?
A year from the day you buy the event. After that the whole evening is removed — the photographs, everything derived from them, and the archive together. Download the file if you want it for longer; it is yours and it does not expire.
Is there a video?
Yes — every night gets a short film, built at the same time as the album and sitting on it. Half a minute or so, the moments in order, with the voices from the evening underneath. There is a whole page about it: see “The film of your night”.
What are the voice notes?
Some prompts ask a guest to record rather than photograph — what somebody wishes they had said, how they know everybody in the room. They sit in the album beside the photographs from the same moment, and they are in the download.
